Freight Carriers Powered by Goodwill
Mission Logistics is built upon Goodwill’s innovative strategy to reengineer its excess transport capacity into a dynamic, flexible, affordable alternative for “less-than-truckload” customers in the commercial market.
While Goodwill’s core services rely on its fleet of trucks and drivers, the organization identified an ideal opportunity to capitalize on that capacity — idle during non-peak times — to more broadly serve the community. Mission Logistics fills a gap in the supply of bulk transportation and freight carrier services for the distribution market, without requiring a long-term contract.
We’re ready round-the-clock! Mission Logistics operates two shifts: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Mission Logistics vehicles are equipped to handle:
- pallets and bulky commodities,
- building materials,
- industrial supplies.
Products such as refrigerated foods, toxic materials and other items requiring special handling and vehicles cannot be accommodated at this time.
Mission & Vision
Mission Logistics is driven by empowerment and improvement for the community we serve.
Mission Logistics will be recognized in both the for- profit and not-for-profit markets as an impeccable provider that lightens the transportation burden of organizations freeing more time to focus on their missions while also supporting Goodwill’s social mission.
Mission Logistics aspires to couple its bulk transportation service with a manpower resource, supplying a qualified workforce pipeline (drivers, movers, laborers) to other fleets and warehouses.
